A-P again, this time in our house. They are going to feel our wrath! We were destroying them, up 59-51 with five minutes left, when I fouled out on a very stupid reach- in call. I prayed that we could hang on to our victory, and keep our two game winning streak alive. Actually, it wasn't such an important game, not being in the SCIAC. Anyway, we ended up losing 60-59! Fouling out sucks! With 25 seconds left we were winning 59-58 and Mike had a wide open two-footer. He missed it and jumped to get the rebound again. He missed again. He jumped (with everyone else, mind you), and the @#%!@#$^ ref called over the back on him. We were in the penalty, so they went to the line. The @#%#$@^#&@ bastard made both baskets! We called a time out, with 20 seconds left, to organize our plan. Unfortunately, we didn't notice that we weren't in the penalty, so they could foul us twice, to make us take the ball out of bounds and use up clock. They did so, and we ended up having the ball at the sideline with 8 seconds left. Ryan Gilbert took the ball in and passed it to Mike, who got tied up, so the refs called a jump ball-- posesion Azusa-Pacific. Game over... The starters were Sean, Ryan G., Scott M., Mike, and I.
